The Rubbermaid plant in Centerville is beginning a very significant hiring phase, say officials with Workforce Employment Solutions, a private employment firm.

A Recruiting Fair will take place Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Rubbermaid facility at 2800 Industrial Park in Centerville. Applications will be taken from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with same-day interviews. Individuals should bring proper identification to establish identity and also be able to pass a drug screen.

This active recruiting program, says a press release from Workforce Employment Solutions, is caused by a tremendous growth in the demand for the products produced in the Rubbermaid-Centerville location.

“Finding quality associates that will help Rubbermaid meet the production demands is the goal of Workforce Employment Solutions,” says Becky Fowler, staffing specialist with Workforce Employment Solutions. “Rubbermaid has always been one of the region’s destination employers and it is beneficial to the entire area when they are in an active hiring phase.”

In order to meet the demands of the employee candidates, Workforce has partnered with Rubbermaid to host the upcoming Recruiting Fair, on-site, at the Rubbermaid facility.
