It also distributes natural gas to 420,000 customers in the same states and employs 4,200 people.
Community involvement is woven into Alliant Energy’s ethos. From the Alliant Energy Foundation that has provided over $46 million to communities and organizations since 1998 to a variety of community outreach programs like Hometown Rewards and Operation ReLeaf, the company works on a number of levels to give back to communities in its service area.
