There are raspberries, strawberries, boysenberries, blueberries, and gooseberries, but what are tangleberries?
Tangleberries is a business located on the south side of Centerville’s historic Town Square, but it’s more than just a one-purpose destination. A clue to the needs Tangleberries meets is to be found in its tagline: “Eats, Treats & Suites.”
The “Eats” portion of Tangleberries refers to its full-service coffee shop, which serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, breakfast pastries, salads, soups, pizza, sandwiches, and Fudgelicious fresh fudge. The “Treats” Tangleberries serves to its customers come in the form of a well-stocked gift shop featuring home decor, cards, jewelry, baby gifts, candles, fashion accessories, and Gee Daddy’s Barbecue Sauces. And “Suites” refers to the three nightly lodging suites to be found upstairs, above Tangleberries’ Jackson Street store. Tangleberries also has two extended-stay suites providing lodging for one-to-six months at its Van Buren Street location on the north side of the Town Square.
Through her creative entrepreneurship, Robin Schmidt, the owner of Tangleberries, has provided Centerville with its own unique brand of berries.
