Clinic grows oral, behavioral health offerings
River Hills Community Health Center in Centerville celebrated the expansion and renovation of their offices with a community open house Tuesday afternoon.
The clinic now has more than 10,000 square feet of clinic space at their Centerville location, offering medical, dental and behavioral health services to the community.
“Our behavior health and our dental program has really grown over here,” said River Hills CEO Rick Johnson. “That’s why we needed the extra space.”
In fact, River Hills Centerville clinic received a $750,000, two-year grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration in order to expand their oral health staff. The grant allowed them to hire a second dentist, another dental hygienist and two more dental assistants.
